FAQ
Common questions.
How long does an inspection take on-site?
Typically 30 to 90 minutes depending on property size and complexity. A single-family roof takes about half an hour; a multifamily complex or warehouse can run longer.
Do I need to be on-site?
No. We coordinate property access with the manager or owner ahead of time and deliver the report electronically once the flight and analysis are complete.
What if the weather is bad on inspection day?
We monitor wind, visibility, and precipitation closely. If conditions could compromise data quality or safe flight, we reschedule at no charge.
What about restricted airspace?
Some properties — particularly those near airports or in downtown cores — require special FAA authorization for drone operations (LAANC). We assess airspace constraints during the initial consult and handle any required permitting as part of the engagement.
Do you offer thermal imaging?
Our standard roof inspection uses high-resolution visual photography. Thermal imaging is available on request for specific applications like moisture intrusion or solar-array inspections.
