Aerial Service Line
Solar arrays inspected
from above.
High-resolution aerial photography of solar arrays — commercial, utility-scale, and residential. Visual condition assessment for soiling, panel damage, racking issues, and vegetation. Thermal imaging available on request for electrical fault detection.

FAQ
Common questions.
How large an array can you cover in one flight?
Mid-size commercial arrays under roughly 5 acres can typically be captured in one to two hours. Larger utility-scale sites require multiple flights or coordinated drone operations, which we plan during the initial consult.
Do you offer thermal imaging?
Thermal imaging is available on request and uses specialized thermal-equipped drones separate from our standard visual fleet. We recommend thermal whenever electrical performance is the concern — hotspots, bypass diode failures, or string-level outages. Visual-only inspection covers physical damage, soiling, racking, and balance-of-system components.
Can you inspect while the array is operating?
Yes. Visual inspection has no impact on array operation. Thermal inspection actually requires the array to be operating under load — that's how panel-level thermal differentials surface.
What's the typical turnaround on a report?
Visual inspection reports are delivered within three to five business days. Thermal reports may take longer depending on processing requirements. Rush turnaround is available on request.
Do I need to be on-site during the flight?
No. We coordinate access through your O&M provider or site manager and deliver the report electronically once the flight and analysis are complete.
